Frequently asked questions
What size should a collage be for Instagram or WhatsApp status?
For an Instagram post choose Portrait 4:5 or Square 1:1; for a WhatsApp status or an Instagram story choose Story 9:16. These apps show pictures 1080 px wide, so a bigger width only makes the file larger.
Can I choose which part of each photo shows?
Yes. Each photo fills its box and is cropped from the centre. Drag it in the preview, or select it and use the arrow keys, to show a different part.
How do I make a collage to print?
Choose A4 page or Photo 3:2, a width of 4096 px, and PNG or JPG at a high quality. That is almost 500 dots per inch across an A4 page, plenty for a sharp print.
