- 2Drag the box over each side of the card, and rotate a side that's sideways.
- 3Choose the layout and copies, and hide the Aadhaar number if you want to.
- 4Download the A4 PDF or JPG and print it at actual size (100%).
Frequently asked questions
What is the password of the e-Aadhaar PDF?
The first 4 letters of your name as it is on the Aadhaar, in CAPITALS, followed by your year of birth (YYYY), with no spaces. If your name has fewer than 4 letters, use the whole name.
What size does the card print at?
85.6 × 54 mm, the standard size of bank cards and the Aadhaar PVC card, as long as you print at “Actual size” or 100%, not “Fit to page”.
How do I hide my Aadhaar number?
Turn on “Hide Aadhaar number” and drag the black box over the digits. Most people hide the first 8 digits and leave the last 4. UIDAI also offers an official masked Aadhaar, which shows only the last 4 digits: choose it when you download your e-Aadhaar from the UIDAI website.
Can I print a PAN card, driving licence or voter ID too?
Yes. Any card of the usual bank-card size works: add a photo or scan of each side and drag the box over the card.
