Frequently asked questions

Are my TIFF pages changed when they are merged?

Not in Colour: each page of a TIFF goes in exactly as it was stored, without being decoded again, so nothing is lost and it's quick. Other images are added without any loss.

Which colour setting should I choose?

Colour keeps every page as it is. Grey makes smaller files for documents. Black and white makes the smallest files and suits text scans and faxes, but photos lose their detail.

Can I add JPG or PNG photos to a TIFF?

Yes. JPG, PNG, WebP and HEIC images each become a page, at their full size, with their DPI when they have one.

How many pages can one TIFF have?

Up to 500 pages, from up to 100 files. For a bigger job, merge in parts and then merge the parts.

Can't find what you need?

Please don't include names, numbers or other personal details.
