Check Exam Photo & Signature

Check whether your photo, signature or thumb impression meets an exam or ID form's rules: JPG format, exact pixels, KB limits, DPI, file name and a plain background.

How to use it

  1. 1Pick your exam or form, then which file it is: photo, signature, thumb or declaration.
  2. 2Add the file you plan to upload, or several at once.
  3. 3Read the pass or fail next to each rule, with your file's value and the one the form needs.
  4. 4If something fails, open the resizer to make a file that passes.

Frequently asked questions

Why does the portal reject my photo when it looks fine?

Portals check numbers you can't see: the exact pixel size, the size in KB, the format and sometimes the DPI or the file name. A PNG renamed to .jpg is still a PNG inside, and many portals refuse it. This checker reads all of these from the file itself.

Does a pass mean my photo will be accepted?

Not always. It checks only what can be measured in the file. The exam body also looks at your face, expression, lighting and how recent the photo is, and its notice is final.

What is the DPI check?

Some forms want a resolution (DPI) recorded inside the JPG. It doesn't change the pixels. The resizer sets it for you.
