Can it read Hindi, Marathi, Tamil and other Indian languages?
Yes: Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, Gujarati and Kannada, as well as English. Pick up to three languages that appear in your document. Picking only the ones it uses gives the best result.
How do I turn a scanned PDF into text or a searchable PDF?
Add the PDF and every page is read, up to 50 pages at a time. You get the text of each page, and Download searchable PDF saves a copy that looks the same but lets you search, select and copy the words.
Why are some words wrong?
Reading works best on a sharp, evenly lit picture taken straight on, with dark print on a light background. Blurry or tilted photos, handwriting, very small print and decorative fonts give more mistakes. Check that the right languages are picked, and correct the text in the box before you use it.
